Stock Parts for 1127 saws are easy to find and available, as there were a ton of them sold. They are pretty easy to work on. Most 029, 029 Super, 290, 310 and 390 saw parts are interchangeable.It has been dead reliable and works great with a 16-18" bar. The 645 is Solo's "mid level" saw. It is a way better saw than the normal box store junk, but not quite on par with the pro saws from stihl/husky. Solo dealers are few and far between but parts can be had online at solousa.com. I have 1 guy running a 42 inch bar with skip tooth chain on a modded 7900 with no problems. I can't say I've read anything on the "side adjust model, but if you do a search on the site for "295," you'll find that some folks say some fairly positive things about it.Cutting speed is good.
